Hyundai Equus Manual iPad App

Hyundai releases its all-new luxury model Equus in 2011 to compete with Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Besides the technological and engineering innovations, the manufacturer pulled out a surprising new way of enganging costumers and owners: The Equus features an Apple iPad in place of a traditional owner’s manual. Promoted with a new ad, Hyundai shows off the iPad app that provides any information an Equus owner can get about his or her car. Truely an extra-seduction to catch tech-savvy luxury car buyers’ attention.
Hyundai has made a bold move with the app. Instead of just providing a textual broschure with written information, they have taken advantage of the iPad’s capabilties of multimedia and multitouch interactions. By touching and swiping you’ll see slideshows, videos and interactive presentations of their jet-style reclining seat or its adaptive headlights.
The app is free to download on iTunes regardless of being an Equus owner. But sure you’ll start to think about it.
