Forza Motorsport 4: EVs are taking over

We here at Autofspace all love cars. Of course we also love computer games. And I’m sure all of us have spent much time in the past with racing games like Test Drive, Need for Speed or Gran Turismo. Why? Because we got the chance to let those machines hurrling, those V8′s roaring and those tyres squeaking.

But times are changing with Forza Motorsport 4.

The latest releasse of the racing game offers a huge range of over 80 different cars from around the world. From Nissan’s Leaf, Tesla Roadster to the Chevy Volt.

For comparison … a true classic: Chevy Camaro.

As with others cars you also can pimp your EV with enough patience and money, so that a stock 2012 Nissan Leaf is capable of a 0-60 time of around 5 seconds and a top speed of over 130 miles per hour with some power electronics upgrades.

Is this the beginning where EV’s are becoming “cool”? At least you it shows that electric doen’t have to mean a lack of passion and driving dynamics.
